Wings of an Aeroplane by H.E.A.T
H.E.A.T. released Force Majeure last month and it is another great album from these Swedish rockers. Their music is melodic hard rock, a bit like Def Leppard in many ways. In a bit of a twist, they brought back their original singer from the first two albums after his (2012) replacement left in 2020.

The Moonflower Society by Avantasia
Avantasia is a German metal opera project by Tobias Sammet. Think of it like Meatloaf, but metal. Their latest album, A Paranormal Evening with the Moonflower Society, comes out in October. This song is wonderful and the animated video is pretty great as well.

The Wind that Shapes the Land by Unleash the Archers
Reaching back to 2020, Unleash the Archers released Abyss, the sequel to Apex. This Canadian power metal band is amazing. Lead singer Brittney Slayes has the perfect metal singer name. This song is an 8+ minute opus and is their best song ever, in my opinion, and one of my favorite songs of the last couple years.
