Dynazty is a Swedish hard rock/metal band that has been putting out some kick-ass albums for many years now. Their run of albums starting with Firesign in 2018 has been amazing, with some of the best overall melodic rock/metal that right up there with bands such as H.E.A.T and Eclipse.
Game of Faces continues the streak with another great album filled with some of the catchiest stuff I’ve heard in a while. If you’re a fan of 80s rock/metal, this will also be right in your wheelhouse. Europe definitely is still bringing it when it comes to hard rock and metal!
The lead singer, Nils Molin, is also one of the singers in Amaranthe and was the singer on the New Horizon album Conquerors from last year. He gets around.
Dynazty make unbelievably catchy stuff and Nils Molin has some great pipes. As is typical, there have been several singles promoting the album that were released in the past few months, such as Devilry of Ecstasy and Game of Faces, but now that the entire album is available I can say that all the songs are great.
I especially like Fire to Fight, which just got its own video, so I guess the band agrees:
I’m not going to write a long review describing every song, because that is just unnecessary. Crank it up and give this some plays!
I’ve listened to it a few times now on my Bowers & Wilkins Px7 SE headphones and in the car and I just can’t stop banging my head!
